Round terracotta mirror composed of individually molded ceramic tiles impressed with natural botanical plant motifs, executed in the style of Roger Capron and reminiscent of Vallauris ceramic production from the mid-20th century.
The warm terracotta surface, organic texture, and plant impressions reflect the decorative vocabulary associated with Capron-inspired ceramic wall pieces. The mirror is mounted on a wooden backing with hanging wire for wall display.
Condition
Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Some traces of transparent adhesive visible between a few tiles. No cracks to the terracotta or mirror glass. Surface irregularities are consistent with handcrafted production.
